Position Overview:
As the Talent Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our talent management team. This role will report directly to the Lead Talent & Business Manager and will be responsible for managing and developing their own talent portfolio. The Talent Manager displays extensive experience in talent management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing talent and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the talent, campaigns and social management teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with leadership team on long-term growth and talent and business visions
- Report to the Lead Talent & Business Manager on team performances or challenges faced
- Talent Development:
- Collaborate with the team to identify and nurture talent, creating personalised development plans for clients and talent.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the talent pool remains competitive and relevant.
- Ensure there is attendance on all new talent calls
- Make informed, timely executive decisions on talent issues for positive outcome
- Manage the execution of Talent dinners this includes budget breakdown and planning
- Client Management:
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and satisfaction.
- Work with talent managers to strategise on client and talent representation, including contract negotiations and career planning.
- Ensure there is attendance on all new client calls and briefing
- Make informed, timely executive decisions on client issues for positive outcome
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively, implementing processes and best practices.
- Work with talent & Campaign managers to strategise on client and talent representation, including contract negotiations and career planning to ensure company objectives and targets are achievable
- Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with the Lead Talent & Business Manager to develop and execute the overall talent management strategy.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for the business.
- Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork across departments.
- Ensure Born Bred Talent's key KPI's and values are adhere to and achieved
Essential:
- Industry experience across diverse areas; social, Talent Management, media/PR and Influencer Marketing desired but a willingness to learn and grow their skills is essential
- High attention to detail
