As a key member of our team, the Regional Support Officer plays a vital role in the governance and administration of the region. Key responsibilities include supporting business planning, finance, asset management, budgeting, human resources, correspondence, public enquiries, fleet management, training, and uniform coordination.

The AO6 Regional Support Officer oversees and maintains various aspects of the business, including business planning, corporate liaison, regional budget management, high-level HR advice, accommodation, flexible work agreements, regional business coordination, and corporate reporting. They utilize systems such as Aurion, ESS, QSS enquiries, Power BI, SAP, and Microsoft Suite for research and analysis.

Representing and advising on governance and administration activities, the Regional Support Officer records and follows up on meeting decisions and actions. Familiarity with government policies is essential to meet business outcomes with accountability, transparency, fairness, and responsibility.

Supervising a business support team responsible for focused business activity coordination and processing, the Regional Support Officer mentors and develops staff needs as required. A current unrestricted manual driver's license or willingness to obtain one is also necessary.

Tertiary qualifications are not necessary, but a qualification in administration, finance, and/or human resource or related disciplines is highly regarded.
