We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Virtual Mental Health Triage Nurse to join our innovative virtual care team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge healthcare in Australia. As a Virtual Mental Health Triage Nurse, you will provide initial mental health assessments, triage, and support to individuals through our fully virtual service.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure clients receive appropriate and high-quality care. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct virtual mental health assessments and prioritize cases based on urgency
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for clients
- Provide emotional support, mental health education, and resources during the triage process
- Refer clients to appropriate mental health services
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health nursing, with a strong background in intake triage or crisis intervention
- Proficiency in virtual care delivery, telehealth platforms, and electronic health record systems
