This role is a support position within the facilities team, based in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide services that ensure organisational objectives are met.
The Facilities Support Specialist will be responsible for presenting the first impression of the company by greeting visitors and directing them to the correct team member and/or department.
They will also answer all incoming calls and ensure connection to the correct department, manage the reception area and meeting rooms, receive and direct incoming deliveries, and respond to requests from employees regarding facilities issues.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced business environment in an administration or reception role, with the ability to take initiative, be innovative, and solve problems.
They should have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to learn quickly and use advanced time management skills.
The Facilities Support Specialist will work closely with internal clients and the management team to maintain strong relationships and display our values and behaviours.
