This is a challenging and rewarding role in child protection that involves working with vulnerable families to provide therapy, care coordination, and advocacy. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team making communities safer and stronger every day.

The role requires strong therapeutic skills for supporting families who have experienced trauma, as well as knowledge of child protection, domestic and family violence, and trauma. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is enthusiastic about working with Aboriginal families and communities.

  • Provide therapy, care coordination, and advocacy to families experiencing child protection concerns.
  • Work alongside a team of counsellors and an Aboriginal health worker.
  • Focus on enhancing child safety, strengthening parenting capacity, and supporting placement stability, restoration, and family preservation.

About You:

  • You must hold Level 3 tertiary qualifications and relevant experience in social work or psychology.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness and ability to travel for work purposes.
