Who We Are
Cross Care Support is a small local NDIS support service offering 1:1 support to clients with disabilities and mental health needs within the greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region. This business has been founded in the aim to help people develop personal skills, engage in lifelong learning and development and come by independence with a new lease on life. We specialise in being flexible with our clients and lend a hand to support them in their day to day routines. At Cross Care Support, we are passionate about making a difference and building capacity within the community to encourage a lifetime of personal success.
The Role
This role is casual with the ability to work up to 10-20 hours weekly and with the intention of growing that to full-time hours if the role requires. As part of this you will need to complete documentation, daily case notes, report to management on behaviours and maintain strong communication with your clients and their family supports.
About You
A successful applicant will be an individual with the same passion as ours; making a difference. The applicant will need to demonstrate initiative, be adaptable and flexible and have strong problem solving skills.
We require someone who is driven, friendly and understanding. Supporting people towards achieving their personal best requires an individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with an empathic approach. Strong communication is necessary as well as the ability to work as part of a team to achieve the same goal.
