Technical Support Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled technical professional to join our hospital's IT team. As a Helpdesk Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hospital's IT systems run smoothly, supporting medical and operational staff.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, with a strong technical foundation. They will be able to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software issues, and be proficient in helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hospital staff across various departments.
  • Monitor helpdesk systems, logging, and tracking all support requests and incidents.
  • Prioritise and escalate issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with other IT support team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Follow hospital IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and tracking tools used for managing IT requests.
  • Able to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
