Job Title: IT Systems Support Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner, and providing technical support across the organization.
Additionally, you will set up accounts for new users, repair and replace equipment as necessary, test new technology, and train junior staff members on best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner
- Providing technical support across the organization
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Training junior staff members
To be successful in this role, you will require strong logical thought processes, problem-solving skills, communication skills, ability to stick to deadlines, and prioritize tasks. A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
