We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Launceston. As a Home Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly customers, helping them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers\u0027 homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, helping our customers to maintain their independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, promoting our customers\u0027 physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers\u0027 daily needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide transport to appointments and social activities, helping our customers to stay connected with their community.

What We Look for in a Home Care Worker:

  • You are passionate about assisting our elderly community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • You are able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday – with no night or weekend work.
  • You are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
