About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Launceston. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Clean and maintain the homes of our customers, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Help our customers with meal preparation and grocery shopping, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Social Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to our customers, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Transportation: Safely transport our customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Complex Care: Provide specialized care to customers with high care needs, such as dementia, requiring a high level of support and understanding.

Requirements
  • Current P1 Class or Above Australian Drivers License: Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a registered vehicle.
  • Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine care and understanding for our customers, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find solutions to everyday problems.
  • Availability: Be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
