About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse with Calvary Care, you will work directly with our residents and provide leadership to staff, ensuring legislative requirements and compliance are followed, to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Lead and support a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care.
- Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
