About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to take on a challenging role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, end-to-end project experience, and a deep understanding of commercial strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Key Capital Projects: Collaborate with our project teams to ensure effective delivery of agreed commercial timelines and outcomes.
- Developing and Implementing Procurement Strategies: Work closely with our business stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies that meet our business objectives.
- Managing Multiple Projects: Actively manage a number of projects concurrently to ensure effective delivery of agreed commercial timelines and outcomes.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project leads, engineers, site-based construction teams, and other project delivery professionals to deliver our capital plan.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement and contracts management, with significant experience in managing/administrating contracts, sourcing, and implementing commercial strategies for the construction category. Experience in procurement for capital projects or construction is required, and experience in Power and Automation projects is highly advantageous.
You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to constructively influence stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A transformational mindset, strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills are also essential for this role.
