About the Role

The Next Step is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior HR Strategist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, strategic thinker who can partner with our CEO to drive business objectives and shape the organisation's capability and future.

As a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, you will lead cultural change, ensure capability uplift, and foster an engaged and productive workforce. Your key deliverables will include rolling out leadership development programs, completing remuneration benchmarking, and ensuring top talent retention at market-competitive rates.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives and ensure the development of a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to design and implement effective employee engagement and ESG outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with NSW employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the CEO to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.

Your Requirements

  • Proven HR leadership experience in highly regulated industries.
  • Extensive experience in driving organisational change and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong track record in developing leadership capabilities at the executive and senior management level.
  • In-depth expertise in NSW employment law and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cultural transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in workforce planning, remuneration frameworks, and reward programs.
  • Experience with ESG practices and sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with exceptional boards and executive teams.

We Offer

A competitive salary of $150,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus benefits.
