We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Capital Strategist to join our team at Qantas, a world-class airline that is passionate about innovation and excellence.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a proven track record of delivering strategic business outcomes through effective people solutions.

As a key member of our People Group, the Senior Human Capital Strategist will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business results and enhance employee experiences.

The role will involve leading a variety of strategic people initiatives and programs across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, leadership development, culture change initiatives, and transformations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective people plans that drive business results. They will also have strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex issues within a matrix business environment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business and commercial acumen, with the ability to effectively use HR data and analytics to drive people solutions. They will also have proven interpersonal and relationship development skills, with the ability to successfully lead a small team and work independently with limited direction or guidance.
