About Charterhouse

Charterhouse is a reputable organisation seeking an experienced Senior People Partner to join their team in Sydney CBD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior People Partner roles, delivering and driving performance and capability plans, engagement initiatives and coaching on leadership and management uplift.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide consultancy, advice, support and guidance to managers and staff on various People and Culture matters. They will partner with executive management and other key stakeholders to develop, embed and sustain people and culture initiatives and solutions for their teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and implementation of organisational people & culture change programs that align with corporate objectives
  • Act as a trusted adviser, business coach and influencer to the heads of the divisions on People & Culture
  • Proactively identify opportunities to shape and drive strategic and operational change initiatives that impact divisions and people
  • Ensure compliance with and resolve issues related to HR and WHS regulations, legislation and organisation policy

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a senior People Partner role
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in leading the development and implementation of people & culture strategies, programs and initiatives at a senior level
  • Sound experience in dealing with a diverse range of people at all levels of the organisation
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources degree or a relevant discipline

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior People Partner to work in a Government department based in Sydney CBD. The role offers a mix of operational and strategic work, with 50% of work done from home. The salary package is between $180,000 - $200,000 per annum.
