About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Executive to join our team at Hyatt Regency Sydney. Located in the heart of Sydney's Central Business District, our hotel offers a unique blend of relaxation and business convenience. As a Sales Executive, you will work closely with our experienced team to maximise revenue opportunities across assigned market segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts allocated according to market segments through reactive sales activities.
  • Rebook annual retention events and groups.
  • Prepare personalised submissions for all enquiries and leads, adhering to policies for quoting, negotiating and follow up.
  • Participate in promotional and entertainment activities as required.
  • Maintain the Envision database, ensuring all information is updated and accurate.
  • Ensure a high level of client service is maintained in all aspects of booking arrangements.
  • Assist with proactive sales and other duties as required by the wider Sales team.
  • Conduct benefit-focused site inspections.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the Hotel industry.
  • The drive to develop a career within the Sales environment.
  • Experience using Opera PMS and Envision is desired.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pride in personal presentation and grooming.
  • Full Australian working rights and the availability to work full-time onsite Monday to Friday.
