Clinical Manager: Mental Health Care Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated mental health professional to manage a caseload of clients, supported by an allocated psychiatrist and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will deliver face-to-face care, helping clients improve their social functioning, reduce hospital admissions, and engage in their treatment. We encourage the participation of clients, families, and carers in all aspects of care and collaborate with various service providers to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will provide high-quality interventions, participate in professional development and supervision, and support our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients with mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and carers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing or related field desirable.
  • Current registration with relevant nursing board.
  • Experience working in mental health services.
