**Job Overview**

Our organization provides high-quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services for Australian veterans and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary teams providing mental health and wellbeing support.

As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high quality clinical services including risk assessment and intervention, referral, evidence-based individual, couple and family counselling, and case management to eligible clients in order to achieve outcomes identified in care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide trauma-informed, holistic, client-centred intake, assessment and brief intervention with vulnerable clients.
  • Liaise with clients' family members and additional treatment providers to coordinate care.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Social Work.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse, or membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Sound judgement and the ability to respond to critical incidents in a calm and timely manner.
