**Job Opportunity: Mental Health Specialist**

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). The successful applicant will provide assessment and treatment for children and young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced clinical assessments, supportive clinical management, and referral of young people with mental health difficulties. They will also be involved in clinical leadership, professional development, and supervision.

**Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients using evidence-based practice.

- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.

- Participate in quality initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

- Actively engage in professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health care.

**Requirements:**

- Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification.

- Advanced clinical skills and experience in child and adolescent mental health.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
