Job Opportunity:

Hanson is a world leader in heavy building materials, renowned for product and service excellence.

We seek a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Product Technical Analyst in Brisbane. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining our Dynamic Mix Control system (DMC), used to create, maintain, and optimize ready-mix concrete product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist technical support by assisting staff with selecting and creating products in the DMC system.
  • Maintain the DMC system and associated master data.
  • Develop effective working relationships with regional teams and internal customers.
  • Communicate and collaborate with regional technical teams to achieve product optimization.
  • Maintain national quality management systems for DMC (processes, raw materials, and products).
  • Conduct daily reviews and corrective actions for compressive strength performance trends to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and local specifications.
  • Identify and report action plans for critical concrete compressive strength trends/issues.
  • Monitor cement performance and consistency, reporting any non-conformances.
  • Manage system change requests to balance system versatility and maintenance costs.
  • Maintain all aspects of DMC and material creation data.
  • Share mix design philosophy and opportunities for improvement across regions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer support within a product quality environment.
  • Analytical skills with experience/exposure to data relevant to technical services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
  • Concrete technology experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A degree or diploma in civil or materials engineering, concrete technology, or mathematics is an advantage.
