Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to our clients, meeting their daily care needs, and accompanying them to appointments and activities. As a Community Care Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic environment that values diversity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet the daily care needs of residents within the community
  • Provide support to residents presenting with complex care needs
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social & recreational activities, adhering to specialist plans and medication administration, personal care, manual handling, meal preparation as per NDIS plan goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Use of own vehicle
  • Appropriate certificate level qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or Disability, or equivalent relevant experience in the human services industry
  • Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with ability to drive vehicles in licence class, including large cars and vans.
  • Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, other common systems
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
