Job Description:

At Community Living & Respite Services, we are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Youth Support Specialists in Out of Home Care. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require support and care.

About the Role:
As a Youth Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality support services to young people in out-of-home care. Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, supporting educational outcomes, and facilitating access to community activities and leisure pursuits. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Certificate IV in Children, Youth & Family Intervention or be willing to undertake this training within 12 months of commencement. You will also need to hold a valid Victorian or NSW driver's licence and have current Level 2 First Aid certification. Ideally, you will have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and a strong understanding of positive behaviour support principles. Additionally, you will need to commit to ongoing professional development and training to ensure you remain up-to-date with best practice in your field.
