Job Description:

Cochlear is the global leader in implantable hearing solutions, dedicated to helping people with moderate to profound hearing loss experience a life full of sound.

We are seeking an experienced talent specialist to lead the design, development, and delivery of talent programs for interns and graduates.

This role is based in our Macquarie Park Global HQ in Sydney, Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and attracting early career talent through collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team to develop strategies for identifying and attracting early career talent.
  • Coordinating Cochlear's participation in careers fairs and on-campus events, showcasing company values and positioning Cochlear as an employer of choice.
  • Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion goals by ensuring early career talent programs align with broader organizational objectives.
  • Building external relationships with tertiary institutions, academic communities, and industry groups.
  • Designing and overseeing effective recruitment processes, including assessment tools and the design of assessment centers.
  • Analyzing market trends to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain early career talent.

• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and attract top talent.

• Design and deliver training programs to enhance leadership skills and promote employee engagement.

• Analyze data to inform talent acquisition strategies and measure program effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Proven ability to project manage, plan workflow, work independently, and take initiative in a dynamic global environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to articulate the 'so what' story to senior stakeholders.
