About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Analyst to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a Category Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and profit expansion in our Optical retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category plans through quality reporting and data analytics.
  • Assist in the development of category analysis and actionable insights that support key category decisions.
  • Support the delivery of effective communication to the global and retail network.
  • Monitor and analyse sales campaign/promotions through post-mortem reporting.
  • Partner and align with cross-functional and external teams to optimise execution through our Omnichannel.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the wider team.
Requirements for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Category Analyst role, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in SAP or Power BI would be highly desirable.
  • Strong influencing ability and effective stakeholder management.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Project management & organisational skills.
  • Optical experience is advantageous, we can teach you all things optics.
