Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our People and Culture department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization that values continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify training and development needs across the organization
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify and analyze diverse learning needs, skills gaps, and performance improvement opportunities
- Design and develop engaging learning content for various departments, including e-learning modules, videos, interactive activities, assessments, and other multimedia content
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate them into our learning solutions
- Support the management of our Learning Management System (LMS) to upload training content, write course summaries, ensure all content is up-to-date, and maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote and support training initiatives
- Contribute to the development and execution of our company's learning strategy
- 3+ years of experience in a similar Learning and Development role, preferably in a technology-focused industry
- Proficiency in instructional design, learning methodologies, including knowledge of e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Rise
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience facilitating training sessions and high presentation skills
- Proven experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Learner-Centric: You should be focused on creating an engaging and effective learning experience tailored to the needs of the learners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training materials.
- Analytical: You should possess strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions, gather and analyze learner feedback, and use it to make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the learning experience.
- Detail-oriented: You should be meticulous and pay attention to detail when designing and developing learning materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with learning objectives.
- Collaborative: You should be able to work cross-functionally with other teams and departments to identify learning needs, share expertise, and implement learning solutions that support organizational goals.
- Results-driven: You should have a strong sense of accountability and be focused on achieving measurable results, such as improving learner engagement, knowledge retention, and performance.
