Event Operations DirectorThis position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our conference venue, ensuring seamless event execution and delivering high-quality services to clients. You will be responsible for managing tasks, team members, and client expectations while developing innovative strategies to enhance guest experience and revenue growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and relationship-building skills are applied throughout the event planning process.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize guest satisfaction and quality services.
- Support the Food and Beverage function during non-conferencing hours, maintaining close contact with conference organisers to ensure their needs are met.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members to enhance their knowledge and personal growth.
- Proven leadership experience in conferencing and events is essential.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills are necessary to drive business growth.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for building strong relationships with conference organisers and team members.
- Outstanding organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks are vital for ensuring seamless event execution.
- Possession of a valid RSA for Victoria is mandatory.
