**About the Opportunity**
The Conference & Events Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the conference and events bookings and sales for the RACV property. The role is responsible for ensuring that there is a seamless interface between establishing the client's requirements and the delivery of these requirements.

Reporting into the Conference & Events Manager, we're looking for an individual who can co-ordinate operations in Conference & Events and oversee our team of Food & Beverage Attendants. You will be the face of our business and main point of contact for conference and event organisers. This is a hands-on role which requires strong management, administration, time management, relationship building, organisation and people development skills.

As a leader, you'll help to set the standards by displaying a passion for hospitality and the motivation to deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients & guests. You will be motivated and hardworking with the "can do attitude" which will see you thrive in the role.

As the Conference and Events Coordinator, you will be required to have the ability to work with staff on initiatives to ensure that departmental, divisional and corporate objectives are achieved while building member benefit and generating increased business opportunities.

This position is a permanent part-time role. You'll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands that will have varied shifts that include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

**What you'll need to be successful**
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisor role, in a conference and events environment, ideally in a 4-5 hotel/resort or convention venue
- Excellent communication & attention to detail
- A leader who thrives in developing employees through training & upskilling
- Strong work ethic, passion, and a genuine love of hospitality to deliver exceptional service standards
- Demonstrate excellent time & resource management skills
- Use initiative and manage daily workloads to ensure smooth operations within the C&E team

Available to work a rotating roster across a 7-day week including evenings and weekends
