
Strategic Talent Leader

The successful candidate will assume a pivotal leadership role within the Culture and Capability team. Their primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and continuously enhance programs and initiatives that support strategic talent management, performance, and employee retention frameworks.
About the Role- Design and execute forward-thinking people and culture strategies to drive organisational success
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to strengthen the organisational approach across employee engagement and performance
- Lead a team of eight direct reports, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high-performance outcomes
- Develop and implement robust performance management frameworks to foster employee engagement and uphold organisational values
- Enhance succession planning and career pathways by identifying and nurturing high-potential talent
- Implement performance management frameworks to enable employee engagement, upholding organisational values and driving a high-performance culture
- Integrate Talent & Engagement perspectives to optimise new operating models and systems using a human-centred approach for design, processes, and data review
- Champion the integration of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) principles into organisational culture, promoting respect, belonging, and a sense of purpose for all employees
- Relevant qualification or years of experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in enhancing employee engagement and building a positive, high-performing organisational culture
- Track record in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide strategies that support workforce development and engagement
- Previous experience collaborating with colleagues and project teams to design, implement, and refine Talent & Engagement modules as part of a larger IT system transformation and implementation
- Extensive experience leading and managing teams, including the ability to inspire, develop, and guide a high-performing team
- Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and facilitation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
