Job Opportunity: Seeking a skilled and dedicated Legal Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to undertake litigation on behalf of the Department of Police and Emergency Management. The successful candidate will provide legal services and support with a focus on family violence cases as part of the Safe at Home strategy.

  • This role offers critical legal advice to DPFEM members, diverse work experiences, and a high degree of personal satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal guidance to members of DPFEM.
  • Undertake various challenging work experiences, including summary court advocacy.

Essential Requirements:

  • Admitted or qualified for admission as a Barrister or practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania with more than 2 years' relevant experience.
