Job Title: Litigation Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our litigation department, you will play a vital role in managing and progressing a wide-ranging caseload of litigation matters with a particular emphasis on property disputes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and progressing a wide-ranging caseload of litigation matters with a particular emphasis on property disputes.
  • Advising and representing both commercial and residential clients on contentious property issues.
  • Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence with precision and clarity, ensuring compliance with procedural rules and best practices.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and staying up to date with changes in legislation and case law affecting property litigation.
  • Preparing cases for court hearings, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution; attending court as required to represent clients or instruct counsel.
  • Liaising with clients throughout the lifecycle of a case, providing strategic advice and regular updates, and managing expectations effectively.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 years post qualification experience in litigation.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of civil procedure and property-related legal principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
