Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Highway Infrastructure Project Manager to join our civil highways engineering team due to consistent growth and an increasing pipeline of work. This exciting opportunity enables you to contribute to major infrastructure projects and be involved in the digital engineering delivery of these and other significant projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve complex technical issues related to highway infrastructure design.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to determine resource requirements for project planning, including elements suitable for outsourcing.
  • Manage, plan, resource, and complete the assigned delivery of the Road Design component of projects within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Ensure the production of accurate, clear, and concise project documents that comply with best practice and quality standards dictated by the project nature.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers/Team Leaders and clients on matters relevant to the project.
  • E nsure compliance with Arcadis design standards and national design standards.
  • Consult with the road design team when implementing road design modeling methodologies and processes on projects.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines and delivery partners to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
Requirements & Qualifications:

You must share our passion for maximizing impact and contributing to improving ways of working, as well as embracing innovation. You will possess-

  • A background in Civil Engineering or a relevant degree, with proficiency in Bentley MicroStation, 12D, or Civil 3D, preferably with experience in OpenRoads and ProjectWise.
  • Experience in a project delivery environment, having demonstrated participation in the delivery of major road infrastructure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil design standards, including Austroads, TFNSW supplements, and/or other local Authority supplements and standards (i.e., VICRoads, TMR QLD, DIT SA, MR WA).
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on location and qualifications.
