CPB Contractors Pty Limited is Australia's leading contractor and the largest infrastructure construction company in our region.

We're currently looking for skilled Highway Surveyors to join our team on a major project based in North Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on one of the nation's busiest and most complex road corridors, making it more efficient and reliable through upgrading four kilometres of the Warringah Freeway.

This upgrade will make trips more efficient and reliable for drivers who use it every day, supporting the growth of Sydney.

About the Project:

The $1.18 billion design and construction contract has been secured by CPB Contractors and DT Infrastructure in a joint venture. Works include connections to the future Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link tunnel projects.

About the Role:

We are seeking highly experienced Surveyors with strong attitudes towards safety, and proficiency in survey software packages such as 12d, CAD/drafting software packages such as Autocad, and current survey equipment and project survey operation requirements including total station, GPS, machine guidance, and laser scanning technologies.

You'll be responsible for supporting the Warringah Freeway Upgrade, which involves collaborating with our partners and clients to deliver this crucial project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma certification in Surveying
  • Over 5 years' experience as a Surveyor on a major civil construction project
  • Experience working with subcontracted survey crews on a major construction project
  • Knowledge of major project survey processes including survey control networks, detailed design survey, construction set-out, as-built survey, survey data management systems, and QA requirements
