We're seeking a Senior Highways Engineer to join our core Civil Infrastructure business unit in Sydney. As an experienced engineer, you'll be part of the teams delivering NSW's latest road and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design teams for projects or design elements to meet budget, timeframe, and quality targets
  • Provide technical advice to project team members while building effective relationships
  • Collaborate with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design
  • Develop digitally innovative design solutions for clients
  • Promote and develop the technical capability of other team members
Requirements & Qualifications:

You have a forward-thinking attitude and are ready to challenge yourself. You're a degree-qualified engineer with experience in civil design and possess:

  • A relevant engineering degree with or progressing to Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Experience (> 7 years) in providing high-quality delivery of roads and civil concepts and designs
  • Solid knowledge and experience working with local design standards, including Austroads Guide to Road Design and specifications
  • The ability to lead, manage, mentor, and develop medium-scale project teams
  • A sound understanding of design management principles and practices
  • Experience reviewing designs in 3D software
  • Strong stakeholder management skills through effective communication
  • A passion for continuous improvement, quality, and improving service for our clients
Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes superannuation, generous leave entitlements, and opportunities for career growth and development within a leading global consulting firm.
