Service Scheduler Job Description

This is a key role that requires efficient coordination and scheduling of field service resources to ensure our customers receive the highest quality technical customer service.

  • You will be responsible for responding to customer and technician calls, updating customers in real-time with any service delays or scheduled changes, and accurately logging new service calls and maintaining all work orders in the Service Management System.

As a Service Scheduler, you will also ensure that all work orders are allocated to a Service Technician and scheduled efficiently, assign and manage the movement of rental equipment, and support the field service technicians with spare parts/inventory requests.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Previous experience in scheduling or service coordination preferably within a service environment.
  • Experience completing tasks associated with the whole work order cycle would also be an advantage.
  • Experience with service management systems, (D365 experience highly regarded).
  • A desire/ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple, conflicting priorities whilst under pressure.
  • A logical approach and great attention to detail.
