At Luxoft, we are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

This role will be based in Sydney, working closely together with the account management, the services team and collaborate with the product teams in France.

You will join a team of experienced consultants and participate in the implementation and support of the application, the installation of new modules and features using:

  • NeoXam DataHub: the most comprehensive, efficient and customizable solution for centralized data management available on the market. The solution acts as a hub, a central repository and a user-oriented data management tool for data used or produced by financial institutions.
  • NeoXam IBOR: a uniquely independent and flexible Investment Book of Record, designed to provide Asset Managers with a single, comprehensive, and robust source of continuously up-to-date positions, valuations and forecasts, with increased quality, under multiple views.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in NeoXam DataHub and/or NeoXam IBOR implementations at some of the world's leading and most respected financial organizations.
  • Implement the software by carrying out NeoXam Datahub/IBOR software customization, workflow definition and optimization using NeoXam cutting-edge technology platform.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting, and identifying and resolving any installation and implementation problems to the client's satisfaction within established time frames.
  • Provide best practice guidance to clients by leveraging technical expertise, NeoXam software knowledge and industry experience.
  • Evaluate client needs and requirements, interfacing with the appropriate Luxoft departments and colleagues as needed.
  • Contribute to client support efforts.
  • Deliver project reports to Luxoft management and clients upon request.
  • Stay up-to-date with NeoXam DataHub and/or NeoXam IBOR functional and technical features and improvements.
  • Identify and resolve any installation and implementation problems to the client's satisfaction within established time frames.

Added Responsibilities for Senior Consultant Role:

  • Manage the overall design and configuration activity by ensuring the team follows configuration / scripting/design guidelines.
  • Analyze client needs, accompany and coach their teams, or take charge of product implementation, meet client requests, manage client relations and coordination of projects.
  • Provide project management leadership under the responsibility of the Account Manager or Project Director.
  • Develop and conduct product training workshops for clients.

Requirements

  • Engineering or Business school degree, Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Up to 7-8 years of experience with software implementation projects in the banking / financial industry within APAC region. Preferably those with a financial technology vendor or consulting company background.
  • Hands-on coding experience in scripting languages like Shell, Bash, Python, VB, Java Script. Ability to adapt to new programming language(s).
  • Experience with RDBMS, Data Modeling, and SQL language.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Data Management and ETL techniques and processes.
  • Previous experience of financial data provider feeds such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE and others.
  • Deep knowledge of financial instruments such as Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives.
  • Previous project experience with involvement in multiple stages of the project life cycle.
  • Independent, with own initiative and good interpersonal skills, concerned about the quality of service provided.
  • Proactive and a real team player.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
