We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Decision Science team in Sydney. As a key member of our data department, you will play a critical role in building scalable data pipelines that power Australia's property market.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools like AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, and DBT, solving real-world problems and delivering insights that make a difference. You will design and maintain ETL pipelines, optimize and integrate structured and unstructured data, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead and support junior team members.

Tech Stack

You will be working with a diverse set of technologies, including:

  • AWS: Develop and maintain scalable data solutions on Amazon Web Services.
  • Snowflake: Design and build data warehouses using Snowflake.
  • Airflow: Use Apache Airflow for workflow management and automation.
  • DBT: Implement data transformation and testing using DBT.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines.
  • Advanced SQL skills for tackling complex queries.
  • Expertise in AWS and Snowflake, with a knack for solving data integration challenges.
  • Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
