About the Role
Cengage Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Account Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our digital solutions to tertiary institutions, national, state, and public libraries, and other educational organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and actively source new business opportunities within the tertiary education sector
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers through regular face-to-face meetings and client contact
- Present our digital solutions to key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
- Provide exceptional after-sales support and service
- Achieve set sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage territory expenditure and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the education or library sector
- Strong understanding of the tertiary education and library markets
- Advanced knowledge of digital learning environments and solutions
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales outcomes and achieve targets
- Excellent business relationship-building skills and communication skills
- Proven after-sales support experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driver's license and willingness to travel
