Key Responsibilities- Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales channels and partnerships to expand our International Freight business.
- Grow and Service Customer Portfolios: Manage and grow a portfolio of Northline accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer satisfaction, face-to-face visits, and retention.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales strategies to drive business growth, including market research, competitor analysis, and relationship management.
- Review and Analyze Accounts: Regularly review and analyze customer accounts to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide Training and Support: Offer necessary information and training to customers to ensure their success and satisfaction.
- Monitor Competitor Activity: Stay up-to-date on competitor activity and industry trends, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Proven Sales Experience: A proven track record of identifying, developing, and establishing key relationships in a sales environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior knowledge and understanding of the International Freight industry, including logistics and warehousing.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, influencing, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and shipping agents.
- Business Acumen: Sound business acumen, including an advanced understanding of the International Freight marketplace.
- Self-Motivation and Resilience: Self-motivation, resilience, and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Language and Literacy Skills: Excellent language, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills and experience with in-house CRM software packages.
