We are seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to lead our team in implementing a Zero Harm framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing company standards, systems, and processes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Presentation of Environmental strategies and plans to senior management teams.
- Delivery of Environment results from project-wide audit programs and provision of reports on incident and HSE performance.
- Ensuring behaviours required for a zero-harm culture through coaching and accountability support.
- Advising management and staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
- Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Providing training and support on HSE matters at all levels.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Preparing regular QHSE reports for senior management.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of our environmental management system.
- Staying updated on the latest HSE legislation and best practices.
- 7+ years' experience as an HSE Manager in construction or related industries.
- Degree/Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
- Able to influence and drive a safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in construction, commissioning, and operation of onshore/near-shore marine projects.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
