Job Title: Business Development Manager

At Panasonic, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and services that will lead to strong revenue growth within your designated markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and services that will lead to strong revenue growth within your designated markets
  • Provide accurate and effective forecasting of demand for product, pricing, and services
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Toughbook products, solutions, and technologies
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure appropriate campaigns are being developed to support the required call rates and conversion to sales
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision makers
  • Expand Panasonic's presence in specific vertical markets
Requirements:
  • A high level of self-motivation, organization, and commercial acumen is essential
  • A proven track record in prospecting and winning new business in the information technology industry or selling a solution into the Transport, Logistics, or Government sectors
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to network effectively with existing and potential clients
  • Be technically minded with the ability to present solutions to complex scenarios
  • An understanding of how to build a solid sales pipeline and create compelling value propositions
  • Demonstrate excellent numerical ability; able to understand and talk numbers, forecast sales/market trends – as well as listen to the needs of our customers
  • Work autonomously but also cooperatively in a dynamic, competitive market
  • A current and full driver's license and be willing to travel
