About the Role

The IT ERP Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in driving the financial success of projects within our organisation. As a key member of our team, you will blend financial expertise with strategic thinking to provide detailed financial analysis and insights that support project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support project decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports that link financial performance to business strategies.
  • Assist in the development, control, and management of project budgets.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to ensure projects meet financial targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Communicate financial performance and insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Implement and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Preferred Education Background - Accounting, Finance, and Commerce.
  • A qualified accountant will be preferred - CA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting body.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business partnering, preferably in the IT industry or comfortable dealing with IT/tech stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, project management methodologies, and financial software and tools.
