About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our BWS Finance team. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in the annual budget process and monthly forecast cycles, analyzing and summarizing high volumes of data to inform key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve team ways of working by introducing innovative analysis, systems efficiencies, and process improvements.
  • Deliver insightful analysis and commercial recommendations, including ownership of the monthly BWS performance pack and input into Endeavour reporting cycle.
  • Work with the FP&A Manager and wider finance team to ensure a consistent rhythm for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables.
  • Assess risks and opportunities against financial targets and provide recommendations for mitigating actions.
  • Provide leadership in financial control, managing month-end close, posting relevant month-end journals, and coordinating with FSS-A on balance sheet reviews.
  • Work closely with colleagues to identify key performance issues and propose solutions.
  • Manage national/overhead costs, working capital analysis, and associated improvement initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and submission of the annual budget and forecast, ensuring they are understood and owned.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ascertain sales, profit, inventory, and cost control measures and resource requirements.
  • Manage costs against budget/targets and assist key stakeholders to monitor budgets/targets at all levels.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified.
  • Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyze and summarize high volumes of data.
  • Strong presentation and storyboarding skills.
  • Able to ensure the approach and output is simple, structured, accurate, and robust.
  • Able to synthesize large amounts of data from various sources.
  • Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience, making the complex simple.
  • Ability to identify efficiencies to accommodate the changing business environment.
  • Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment, e.g., Excel, SAP, Tableau.
