Position Overview
As a Finance Business Partner - Exports, you will be integral to the International Finance team, working closely with Regional Sales Leads to enhance business performance. Your role will require you to be an adept storyteller and influencer, providing insights that shape commercial decisions. Success in this position hinges on your ability to deliver data-driven insights and articulate clear narratives in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee weekly and monthly performance reporting, ensuring effective communication of key drivers.
- Conduct thorough analysis and provide recommendations regarding portfolio case rate volume, pricing strategies, and trade spend efficiency.
- Proactively communicate commercial implications affecting the portfolio.
- Develop initiatives aimed at enhancing visibility and accountability of Sales and Profit performance.
- Support strategic analyses and project evaluations to optimize returns on Trade Spend Investments and Cost of Doing Business (CODB) expenditures.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve operational efficiencies.
- Play a significant role in the forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Facilitate clear communication across various stakeholder groups.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, customer-focused finance professional with a commercial mindset and the ability to engage with all management levels. You possess a genuine enthusiasm for analyzing substantial data volumes to extract valuable insights. Your proactive nature allows you to manage deadlines effectively while thinking creatively to resolve complex challenges. Key qualifications include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools within a commercial context (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, D365, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work cross-functionally.
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
- Advanced time management and prioritization abilities.
- Capability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and process excellence.
