About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-Market Business Development Representative to join our Sales Team at HubSpot, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with mid-market companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize proactive and inbound selling methods to identify and secure new business opportunities with mid-market companies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within these companies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to customers, guiding them through the sales process and providing expert advice on how to leverage the HubSpot platform to drive business growth.
  • Conduct qualification calls with C-level executives and department leaders to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations online and occasionally in person to showcase the value of the HubSpot platform.
  • Collaborate with internal champions and various stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with HubSpot's marketing and technology teams to adapt sales strategies to new features and products.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of SAAS sales experience in a role with quotas, targeting companies with under 500 employees.
  • Experience in navigating complex sales environments with a collaborative approach.
  • Skilled in presenting and pitching business transformations to C-level executives.
  • Capable of managing monthly and annual sales pipelines with precision in forecasting.
  • Driven by goals, consistently achieving monthly and yearly targets.
  • Trained in standardized sales techniques, such as the Sandler method.
  • Proven track record of driving results and being resilient in challenging sales scenarios.
  • Approach challenges with a customer-first mentality and a strong growth mindset.
