About this Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to make a lasting impact on the mental health and wellbeing of students at CQUniversity. As a Strategic Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will play a pivotal part in implementing and evaluating Mindwaves 2.0, our comprehensive mental health and wellbeing plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of the coordinated implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Mindwaves 2.0 initiatives
  • Designing, developing, and evaluating mental health and wellbeing programs, activities, guidelines, and frameworks
  • Collaboration with Counselling, Wellbeing, and Safer Communities leadership, other key stakeholders, and students to drive positive outcomes
Job Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications, combined with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and expertise in policy development and program implementation
  • Detailed understanding of health promotion, early intervention, and holistic mental health and wellbeing campaigns and frameworks
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in designing, implementing, and evaluating mental health and wellbeing initiatives and programs for diverse student cohorts
