Indigenous Research Leader in Forensic Mental Health

Join us at Swinburne University of Technology as we seek an outstanding Indigenous Research Leader to undertake a Doctoral research project in forensic mental health. With a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus 17% superannuation, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the implementation of recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.
The chosen candidate will work closely with the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare) to address critical issues in forensic mental health care and have the chance to develop their research skills through collaboration with supervisors.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a research background in psychological sciences, health sciences, population and global health, and relevant industry experience, with a First Class Honours (average grade 80-100) or equivalent.
