We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Casework Support Worker

About the Role:

This role is pivotal in supporting caseworkers with day-to-day tasks, contributing to keeping children, young people, and families safe. Key responsibilities include assisting caseworkers prepare documentation, helping with case planning, sourcing and sharing information about families, making relevant referrals and appointments, and maintaining timely client and casework records.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license
  • A TAFE Diploma in a relevant field or welfare/community services, or equivalent work experience
  • Some community work experience in working with vulnerable and diverse groups
  • Strong record-keeping skills or willingness to learn
  • The ability to understand complex and challenging situations for disadvantaged families
