Quality and Compliance Specialist for Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Specialist to support our staff in matters relating to quality system requirements.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in quality programs and enthusiasm for improvement. They will possess well-developed communication skills, be a Registered Nurse with current registration, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in health care or aged care settings.

The Quality and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and driving the implementation of new standards, maintaining compliance with accreditation schemes, and leading improvements in quality management frameworks across residential and retirement living services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audits across residential and retirement living services and assisting areas to implement corrective action.
  • Identifying and escalating risks of care failures relating to non-conformance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Building capability in quality management systems and clinical governance processes.
  • Actively supporting employees to understand and adhere to organisational policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will model a culture that promotes quality and safety, provide expert advice on quality, compliance, and outcome standards, and lead the management of service accreditation requirements.
