**About the opportunity**:
This position reports into a newly created specialist role General Manager - Quality & Service Support. This role has been designed to lead the Quality function and to be able to offer practical support and advice to the business in the areas of quality processes, compliance, and safety.

In this position you will establish, refine, review, and educate Lutheran Services geographically dispersed Aged and Community Care teams on our quality and accreditation management processes. This will ensure organisational oversight of compliance with the standards and continuous improvement and to provide strategic advice regarding continuous improvement strategies and operationalising legislative and compliance changes.

You will continue to lead and mentor the Quality Accreditation team members to be able to confidently support sites during external audit visits and in managing complaints and continuous quality improvement plans.

**About you**:
As an experienced Quality Professional who has managed dispersed teams previously, you will have a relevant Bachelor's Degree e.g. Social Science, Clinical, Management), and/or Certificate IV or above in Management.

You will bring demonstrated experience in use of and understanding in Quality Management Systems and databases. An understanding of current and emerging aged care and community service industry trends and models of service delivery (including NDIS, Aged Care Quality Standards) will be highly regarded.

You will enjoy the opportunity to lead a team who take a partnering and co-design approach with the services and who are willing and able to learn from and support their peers.
