We are seeking an accomplished Client Relationship and Event Sales expert to join our team at Melbourne & Olympic Parks. With a focus on developing strong customer relationships, this role presents a unique opportunity to drive sales growth and contribute to the success of our events.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Team to respond to event enquiries, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, convert leads, and prepare contracts. This involves:

  • Performing the end-to-end sales process from canvassing to converting sales opportunities for corporate event spaces.
  • Being responsible for the sales growth of attaining conferences and events.
  • Playing an integral role in executing the sales strategy.
  • Managing an agreed portfolio of Business Events and Corporate Accounts.
  • Retail existing business and increase their investment in M&OP.
  • Building and developing relationships with new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires a skilled multi-tasker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting demands from multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills, a passion for delivering world-class customer experiences, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (depending on experience)
